Uchiko Night Market

The annual Evening Market takes place along Uchiko's historic Honmachi Shopping Street, which becomes a pedestrian-only zone for the occasion. Enjoy the lively atmosphere as the town comes together to celebrate the beginning of the summer festival season.

Uchiko Summer Festival

Saturday, July 11 | 5:00 PM–9:00 PM

Held in the heart of Uchiko, the Summer Festival features food stalls, games, and dance performances. The evening concludes with a fireworks display over the Chisei Riverside, beginning at 8:45 PM.

Oda Lantern Festival

Saturday, July 25 | 5:30 PM–9:30 PM

The Oda Lantern Festival is one of Uchiko's most distinctive summer events. Visitors can enjoy food stalls, hands-on activities, taiko drum performances, and the display of impressive giant lanterns.

As evening falls, lanterns are floated down the river, their gentle light reflecting on the water to create a peaceful and memorable summer scene.
