The fire letters of "山ノ神" that emerge at the foot of the mountain are worth seeing
The Sacred Fire Festival of Mt.Teramura is lit with about 5,000 lights called "Ohikari" and the fire letters of "山ノ神" which means the god of mountain, appears fantastically under Rokkaku Mountain. It is a traditional event that has continued since the 6th year of Bunsei (1823), and contains the desire to pray for the good fortune of the mountains and a good harvest in autumn. The fireworks that roar in the mountain village beautifully color the night sky and make summer memories. The shopping street is lined with many food stalls.
