A riverside pilgrim-style inn

Located along the banks of the Oda River, Ikadaya is a unique accommodation created by renovating a former elementary school and recreating the atmosphere of a traditional henro (pilgrim) inn once found in the area.

Guests can experience a slower pace of rural life during their stay, from spending time by the river to enjoying simple outdoor activities in the surrounding nature. The warm hospitality of the local hosts is reflected in home-cooked meals prepared with care, including regional specialties such as grilled ayu (sweetfish).

Blending nostalgia, nature, and local culture, Ikadaya offers a relaxing and authentic countryside stay.
