Located at the entrance to Uchiko’s historic town district, this 170-year-old traditional Japanese house has been thoughtfully renovated into a welcoming guesthouse where travelers can relax and connect with others.

While preserving the charm of a traditional home, the space incorporates modern touches throughout. The interior makes generous use of local materials and showcases carefully selected design and craftsmanship.

Accommodation options include shared dormitory rooms as well as a private room for two guests. Guests can choose between a mixed dormitory and a female-only dormitory. Toilets and shower facilities are shared.

The guesthouse also features a cozy bar serving local sake, craft beer, wine, and more. A shared kitchen is available for guests who prefer to prepare their own meals.

Owned and operated by a former member of Uchiko’s Local Vitalization Cooperator program, the guesthouse warmly welcomes both domestic and international visitors. It is an ideal choice for travelers who wish to explore Uchiko beyond the guidebooks, discover local insights, and connect with others during their stay.

Meals:
Guests may use the bar, bring their own food, or cook in the shared kitchen. Information on local restaurants and food delivery is also available.
